before you begin: 

take some time to open your space and prepare your physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies to enter into this ritual. if you'd like, listen to our opening meditation to help you prepare for the sacred connection offered by this ritual. 

if you need to, take some additional time to align your focus and your space in preparation for your ritual. light a candle, some incense, dim the lights, minimize distractions etc. as you begin your first ritual.

ritual 2 🌞

sun ritual

• as the sun begins to shine down, it's a perfect opportunity to give your ritual tools a solar cleanse.
• lay out any tools that require cleaning or a boost.

sowilo rune offering

• honour Sunna, the sun goddess, by asking for her protection over your family and to bring prosperity and abundance throughout the year.
• paint the Sowilo (sun) rune (pictured on the right) on the back of a tarot card and position it in a sunny location at home.
• in the evening, light a sun candle, jot down your year's wishes, burn them along with other objects such as with holly) and enhance your altar with sun-related items.
